Dr. Tirado is a double board-certified pediatric otolaryngologist. She is certified in complex pediatric otolaryngology. She earned her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She completed her Otolaryngology Head and Neck residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Tirado recently joined the Tampa Children’s ENT group after working at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami for the last 10 years.
At a national level, she is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Tirado specializes in congenital and pathological disorders of the head and neck, functional and cosmetic nose surgery, as well as endoscopic and open airway procedures. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, as she was born in San Juan, PR.
