Dr. Karin Hotchkiss is a board certified pediatric otolaryngologist. She graduated with honors from The Florida State University with a Bachelors of Science degree, and the University of Florida, College of Medicine with her medical degree. Being from Florida, she completed her surgical internship and ENT residency at the University of South Florida. With a passion for pediatric otolaryngology care, she pursued and completed a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at The John’s Hopkins University. After graduation she returned to the Tampa Bay area to begin practice in 2005. Seeking to provide a greater level of pediatric care to children and families of the Tampa Bay area she founded Tampa Children’s ENT in 2009. Dr. Hotchkiss has helped more than 20,000 families during her career. She is the medical director for Pediatric Otolaryngology for Baycare Health Systems. She is also a founding member of Tampa Bay’s Pediatric Aerodigestive Team which provides a multi-disciplinary approach to diagnosing and managing complex disorders of the airway and digestive systems for children. Professionally, Dr. Hotchkiss is an active member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She attends annual educational meetings and participates in continuing medical education and research activities.
In her personal life she has been married to John Hotchkiss for more than 20 years and is mom to their 3 school age children. She enjoys traveling and has served on several medial mission trips to South America and the Caribbean through her local church.
