Dr. Karin Hotchkiss is a board certified pediatric otolaryngologist. She graduated with honors from The Florida State University with a Bachelors of Science degree, and the University of Florida, College of Medicine with her medical degree. Being from Florida, she completed her surgical internship and ENT residency at the University of South Florida. With a passion for pediatric otolaryngology care, she pursued and completed a pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at The John’s Hopkins University. After graduation she returned to the Tampa Bay area to begin practice in 2005. Seeking to provide a greater level of pediatric care to children and families of the Tampa Bay area she founded Tampa Children’s ENT in 2009. Dr. Hotchkiss has helped more than 5,000 families during her career. She also serves as a member of the St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital craniofacial team providing surgery to children with congenital head and neck deformities. Dr. Hotchkiss has a personal interest and is an advocate for children’s disorders including autism and developmental delay. Professionally, Dr. Hotchkiss is an active member of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She attends annual educational meetings and participates in continuing medical education activities.
In her personal life she has been married to John Hotchkiss for more than 19 years and is mom to their 3 school age girls. She enjoys traveling and has served on several medial mission trips to South America and the Caribbean.
